To be added

[edit]

Information I think is important enough to be added (either as one-sentence references or as paragraphs):

- Anarchism's role in the Cantonal rebellion and perhaps a reference to the Canton of Cartagena (Added small paragraph (26 November 2022))

- Rio Tinto strike and massacre

- Jerez Uprising

- Tragic Week in 1909

- Scala case

The post title. Many links added to variants of anarchy in this page end up linking to relevant but unhelpful pages, Such as anarchism in argentina. Although this is because of page redirects, I believe this page should elaborate on said variants or link to a page that does so without needing to read large amounts of text in that article beforehand. @Yooperhunter2022, can you list the examples you have in mind? czar 11:17, 17 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Luddism & Expropriative anarchism are the links i had issues with. I must have been mistaken about the size of this problem, Nonetheless i still believe it should be addressed. Yooperhunter2022 (talk) 18:03, 17 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Yooperhunter2022: I think I can explain their usage here: the term "Luddism" comes from Bookchin's history of Spanish anarchism, and as he is from the English-speaking sphere, he is using an English term for a similar tendency (i.e. workers who destroyed factory machinery); the term "expropriative anarchism" is a relic of a deleted old Wikipedia article, and never really existed as a specific tendency (it really just refers to anarchists that robbed banks). I think if they cause confusion and don't link anywhere helpful, we should probably remove them for clarity's sake. --Grnrchst (talk) 20:21, 17 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
